Jerome A. Paulson, MD, is the medical director for national and global affairs at the Children’s Health Advocacy Institute. He is professor of pediatrics at George Washington University School of Medicine & Health Sciences and professor of environmental and occupational health at the GW School of Public Health & Health Services. Dr. Paulson is the director of the Mid-Atlantic Center for Children’s Health and the Environment, one of ten pediatric environmental health specialty units in the US. He is currently the chairman of the executive committee of the AAP's Council on Environmental Health. He also serves on the Children’s Health Protection Advisory Committee for the US Environmental Protection Agency and on the technical advisory board for the Blacksmith Institute.
