Biography

Hemalatha Srinivasalu, MD, is an attending physician at the Division of Rheumatology at Children’s National Health System. She specializes in managing pediatric rheumatological disorders such as lupus, juvenile arthritis, juvenile dermatomyositis, and periodic fever syndromes. Her research interest is in the Spondyloarthritis group of disorders. Dr. Srinivasalu has presented her work at various national and international conferences. She is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance. She has served as reviewer for various peer-reviewed journals. When she is not taking care of patients, Dr. Srinivasalu spends time with family, listening to music, and swimming.
