Leave

Annual Leave
Eligible staff members accrue vacation based on the number of hours worked at Children's. Vacation is accrued per pay period, according to staff level, and years of service. The number of weeks accrued varies from 2 to 5 weeks per year.

Sick Leave
Sick leave benefits are provided to ensure income during periods when employees must be absent from work due to personal illness or injury. Eligible staff accrue sick leave up to a total of 12 days annually, based on the number of hours worked.

Paid Holidays
Children’s currently recognizes nine federal holidays as paid holidays. In addition, each benefit eligible employee receives an annual "floating holiday," added to their vacation accruals to use as they wish.
