For Doctors and Healthcare Professionals

Children’s National Health System offers many programs for new and experienced doctors, such as Faculty Academic Appointments. Most new faculty physicians, as well as many investigators joining the Children's Research Institute are eligible for academic appointments at the George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. These appointments provide access to the medical school’s Himmelfarb Library and in most cases provide tuition remission benefits. Additional information will be available to candidates during the interviewing and onboarding processes.

Medical Staff On-Boarding

The Medical Staff On-Boarding Gateway contains links to documents and websites that new physicians at Children's National may need during their on-boarding process.
