Television Services
Most patient rooms have a television and there is no charge for service. If you need a closed-caption decoder, one is available in the Communications Department on the first floor. The Doctor Bear Network is a free service that features new blockbuster movies and classic films. All Network programs have been previewed by hospital staff to ensure their appropriateness for family viewing.

Telephones
Most patient rooms have a telephone that may be used free of charge for local calls between 8 am and 8 pm. Pay phones are also located throughout the hospital. If you need a TTY telephone line for the hearing impaired, you can arrange for one when you arrive by dialing x3444 from within the hospital.

Cafeteria
The cafeteria is on the second floor. The hours of operation are:

Monday - Friday
Breakfast: 6:30 am - 10 am
Lunch: 11 am - 2:30 pm 
Dinner: 5 pm - 7:15 pm

Weekends
Breakfast: 7:15 am - 10 am
Lunch: 11 am - 2:30 pm
Dinner: 5 pm - 7 pm

The cafeteria is open between meals for coffee, donuts, soft drinks and snacks.

Vending Areas
The Snack Bar is on the second floor next to the cafeteria and is open 24 hours a day, except for brief cleaning/restocking periods from 3 pm to 3:45 pm and 9:15 pm to 10 pm. You can find fresh food, drinks, microwave oven and a change machine here. Vending machines are also available in the Emergency Room waiting area.

Cashier/Automated Teller Machines
The cashier's window is located in the atrium and is open Monday through Friday from 10 am to 5 pm. Parents of inpatients may cash personal checks for up to $25 from 10 am to 1 pm. Parking tickets also can be purchased at the window.

Two automatic teller machines (ATM), also in the atrium, are available 24 hours a day.

Coffee Bars
The coffee bars are located on the second floor at the entrance to the West Addition and in the hospital Atrium. Light snacks are available along with a variety of coffees and coffee drinks.
