Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is an XML-based format for content distribution. Children's offers RSS feeds for use in news readers. These feeds include headlines, summaries and links to ChildrensNational.org pages for the full article.

RSS feeds are free and there are several different ways to access them. You can install a news reader that pulls and displays headlines from web sites that you select. This can supply you with many headlines at once. This means that you can get your news from one place instead of visiting several sites. Once you have installed the reader, you can manually add each feed from participating web sites.

Newer web browsers (Internet Explorer 7 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 2 or higher, etc) have RSS readers built into them. If you are having trouble installing, viewing, or accessing our RSS feeds, you may want to check your browser version and upgrade to the newest version if your current browser does not support this functionality. Upgrading your browser is free. To find out which browser version you are running, select "Help" and "About Internet Explorer" (or "About Safari" or "About Firefox," depending on which browser you are using).

You can upgrade your browser for free at these sites:
Internet Explorer users
Mozilla Firefox users | Safari Users
