Pulmonology Fellowship

How to Apply

Children’s National Medical Center will be participating in the National Resident Matching Program (NRMP - http://www.nrmp.org/), Pediatric Pulmonary Specialty Match for those applying for fellowship beginning July 1, 2015. We are also participating in ERAS this year, (ERAS- https://www.aamc.org/     or: https://www.erasfellowshipdocuments.org/ ).

ERAS Applications become available to Pediatric Pulmonary Fellowship Programs on December 1, 2013. The ERAS website will guide you in uploading your documents. You can start the process after July 1, 2013.

We plan to start interviewing select applicants with completed applications in January and will continue until April 2013. 

Applicants must have graduated from an accredited medical school and have completed a pediatric residency program at an accredited institution. The individual must be board-eligible/certified in pediatrics. Applicants should submit the following documents:
  1. ERAS Application form
  2. Curriculum vitae
  3. Personal statement
  4. Recent photograph
  5. Minimum of two letters of reference, one of these should be from the Pediatric Program Director
  6. USMLE scores
  7. Copy of ECFMG certificate (if applicable)
