Pharmacy Residency Program Year Two

Education

Program Description

Required Rotations (24 weeks)

  • Medication Safety/ Performance Improvement (4 weeks) 
  • Critical Care (12 weeks) – pick 2 to 3 of the following
  • Pediatric Cardiology
  • Pediatric Intensive Care
  • Neonatal Intensive Care
  • Pediatric Trauma/Emergency Care
  • Hematology (4 weeks)
  • Oncology (4 weeks)
  • Any of the critical care rotations not chosen for the required 12 weeks may be taken as an elective rotation

Elective Rotations (20 weeks)

  • Public/Global Health and Advocacy
  • Health System Informatics
  • Pediatric Neurology
  • Bone Marrow Transplant/Immunology
  • Pediatric Infectious Disease
  • Pain and Anesthesia
  • Association Experience
  • Longitudinal Experiences
  • Administration
  • Ambulatory Care
  • Chief Resident
  • Drug Information 
  • Practice Management (MOC/AOC)
  • Staffing & clinical staffing
  • Teaching
