Biography

Dr. Randi Streisand received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Michigan. Her internship at Brown University was completed in clinical child and Pediatric Psychology. Before coming to Children’s in Washington, DC, Dr. Streisand completed her fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. Dr. Randi Streisand has been awarded research grants from a number of prestigious universities and research organizations. Streisand is a member of the Center for Pediatric Psychology and Family Studies and also the American Psychological Association. Streisand has been published in numerous publications such as the Journal of Pediatric Hematology and Oncology, Journal of Clinical Psychology, and Children’s Health Care. Dr. Streisand has also conducted lectures on psychosocial issues in pediatric oncology. Dr. Randi Streisand is currently a Psychologist in the department of Behavioral Medicine at Children’s National Medical Center.
