Biography
Muhammad A. Khan, MD, MPH joined the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology and Nutrition at Children’s National in 2011. His clinical interests involve hepatobiliary (liver and gall bladder) and pancreatic diseases, Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD), feeding problems, and advanced endoscopy. Additionally, he works extensively with the inpatient Intestinal Rehabilitation and Liver/Intestinal Transplant Team. He sees patients with all gastrointestinal diseases.
Dr. Khan completed fellowship at Stanford University Medical Center, where his research interests focused on the pediatric gastrointestinal microbiome, and published review of gastrointestinal infections. He is involved in education of medical students, residents, and fellows at Children’s National Medical Center and The George Washington University School of Medicine.
