Biography

Dr. Chatoor is the director of the Infant and Toddler Mental Health Program at Children’s National Medical Center. She is a world-renowned specialist in infant and toddler feeding disorders and a pioneer in the field of feeding disorders. Dr. Chatoor developed the classifications for different types and treatments of feeding disorders in children.

To read more about Dr. Chatoor’s pioneering work in feeding disorders in children, .She received her MD from the Ruperto-Carola University and completed internships at City Hospital, Ambert City Hospital and Providence Hospital. Dr. Chatoor completed residencies at Children’s National Medical Center and The George Washington University Medical Center, as well as a fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center. She also serves as a professor of psychiatry and pediatrics at The George Washington University.
