Driving Directions: From points south:
  • I-270 North towards Frederick
  • Take exit 8, stay in left lane
  • Turn left onto Shady Grove Road. Stay in the left-hand lane
  • After crossing over I-270, turn left at second light onto Corporate Boulevard
  • Take the first or second left turn into the parking area.
    You will want to enter the building at the South Entrance (the end of the building closest to the parking lot entrance). When inside the lobby, take the elevator to the Third Floor. As you exit the elevator, our office will be immediately to your left.
From points west:
  • I-270 South
  • Take exit 8 for Shady Grove Road
  • Stay in the left of the two right-hand turn lanes
  • After turning right onto Shady Grove Road, get in the far left lane and make a left onto Corporate Boulevard at the first light
  • Take the first or second left turn into the parking area

Biography

Angela Fletcher, PsyD, is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry & Behavioral Sciences who works in the Division of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine. Dr. Fletcher specializes in the assessment and treatment of children suffering complex pain and their families. Dr. Fletcher is the Director of Psychology Services for the Complex Pediatric Pain Medicine Program’s Outpatient Clinic and also works within the Division of Neuropsychology in the Safe Concussion Outcome, Recovery & Education (SCORE) Program, where she provides behavioral medicine interventions to children suffering from acute behavioral and/or emotional problems, physical problems including pain following a concussion. She conducted her doctoral internship at Johns Hopkins University/ Kennedy Krieger Institute, providing consultation and ongoing treatment to patients with acute and chronic medical conditions. She spent the second half of her year conducting neuropsychological evaluations on patients with chronic medical conditions. She went on to specialize her training in pediatric psychology by completing a two year fellowship in the Child & Adolescent Diabetes Program & the Pediatric Behavioral Sleep Medicine Program at Children’s National Medical Center.

Her research interests include the environmental and family factors that affect pain perception, school functioning for children with complex pain, and the relationship between sleep and pain.
