| Biography |
| Dr. Wessel is internationally known for his pioneering work in caring for infants with heart disease. Dr. Wessel previously was a professor of pediatrics (anesthesia) at the Harvard Medical School. He was chief of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit at Boston Children’s for many years and previously served as president of the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Society. |
