*The Ambulatory Surgery Center in Montgomery County is an ideal alternative for healthy children in need of minor surgical procedures that do not require an overnight stay. The Surgery Center is supported by senior pediatric anesthesiologists and highly skilled nurses from Children's Hospital. We encourage parents to discuss the surgery with their child before hand to help alleviate anxiety. Pre-surgical tours are also available. Parents are encouraged to stay with the child in our child-themed induction rooms, as they are put to sleep and prepared for surgery.
