Visiting & Staying

Children's National Health System is taking precautions to protect patients, families, and employees from the spread of flu. The following guidelines are in effect until further notice.

If you are visiting a patient staying in our hospital, please note:

  • No visitors under the age of 14 (this does not include patients)
  • Max of 2 adults accompanying child (must be parent, guardian or designated family caregiver)
  • All tours are suspended and atrium performances cancelled
  • All patients and visitors will be screened for flu symptoms
  • Masks will be provided to sick adults who are unable to leave their Children's National Health System
  • All visitors must be free of flu-like symptoms

Thank you for helping us provide the safest environment for our patients, families, and employees. For more information on flu symptoms and how to protect yourself and your family, visit our Flu Resource Center.
